Why We Make Our Own Dog Skincare Products
Like many pet owners, we were frustrated by the number of pet skincare products filled with artificial additives, harsh chemicals, and questionable ingredients. So, we decided to create our own, ensuring everything we make is gentle, natural, and effective, perfect for dogs with sensitive skin.
Our balms and shampoos are designed to nourish, protect, and soothe, keeping your pup’s paws, nose, and coat in top condition all year round. And because we handmake them in small batches, you’re always getting fresh, high-quality products.
The Power of Natural Ingredients
Every ingredient we use is carefully selected for its benefits to canine skin and fur. Here’s a peek at some of our favourites:
🐾 Shea Butter – Deeply moisturising, packed with vitamins A and E to heal dry and cracked skin.
🐾 Coconut Oil – Naturally antibacterial and hydrating, leaving skin and fur soft and healthy.
🐾 Oatmeal – Soothes itchy or irritated skin, making it ideal for dogs with allergies.
🐾 Lavender & Chamomile – Gentle essential oils that calm the skin (and smell amazing too!).
We don’t include: parabens, sulphates or artificial fragrances, just pure goodness for your pup!
How We Make Our Balms & Shampoo Bars
We keep our process simple and traditional because we believe in quality over quantity. Each balm and shampoo bar is made by hand, using the following process:
🔹 Melting & Mixing – Natural butters and oils are gently melted together to preserve their nutrients.
🔹 Pouring & Setting – The mixture is carefully poured into eco-friendly packaging and left to set.
🔹 Cutting & Curing – Our shampoo bars are hand-cut and left to cure, making them long-lasting and luxurious.
🔹 Packaging with Care – We use plastic-free, sustainable packaging to keep our products kind to the planet.
